Get in those veggies!

Today marks the last day of National Nutrition Week!🤩

But that doesn’t mean you can’t keep Trying for 5✋🏼 veggies per day!
So we’re here to leave with you some parting tips:

1. Variety! There’s several different vegetables out there - try them all 🤪 Make sure your meals have at least ✌🏼(2) different vegetables & colours.

2. Purchase vegetables that are in season or on special! They’re more affordable & taste delish!🤌🏻

3. Get creative with your cooking methods! How you cook something can drastically change how it tastes. Roast your veggies, chuck them in a stir fry or place them atop your favourite pizza 🍕.

4. Sneak them into your sauces, soups and smoothies 🤫 It’s a great way to sneak a few different vegetables into your meal without even noticing! Think spaghetti sauce with some grated up zucchini & carrot 🥕

5. Use frozen vegetables! Frozen veggies are so convenient, affordable & are still loaded with the nutrients! You can purchase just about any vegetable frozen nowadays or if you buy fresh produce in bulk, you can freeze it yourself🙆🏼‍♀️
